Guyana

Cashier (Due October 4, 2024)

Core Responsibilities: 

1. Perform routine cashier functions as required including taking cash, credit cards, cheques, or other such bank instruments.
2. Conduct accurate and speedy transactions.
3. Greet customers in-store and maintain a high level of customer service.

Qualifications / Experience:

• At least 5 CXC passes of Grades I, II or III including Mathematics and English along with 1 year experience in a similar role.

Skills, Competencies and Requirements for the position:

1. Knowledge of Retail, Sales, Customer Service processes and related business modules would be an asset.
2. High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Point of sales systems would be an asset.
4. Passion for excellence with a “can do” attitude.
5. Ability to learn colour matching and merchandising skills.
6. Open to learning and innovation with a growth mindset.
7. Enthusiastic, with a readiness to champion best practices to meet challenges in a fast-paced environment.
