BH Paints Giving Free Colour Make-over to Public Projects
December 05, 20112 min read
We've all heard the saying "It takes cash to care," and with that in mind one of the region's leading paint companies, BH Paints, has decided to put its own twist on that old adage as the company celebrates this month 50 years of bringing colour to Jamaican life. BH Paints, which proudly carries the slogan "Caribbean Champions of Colour," has decided to give back to the Jamaican people for their unwavering support over the past 50 years. Some weeks ago, BH Paints invited the public to submit worthy public projects island wide that needed, or could benefit from, a colour make-over. Fifty of these submissions will be placed on Facebook, along with a short explanation, and Jamaicans are invited to vote, to decide the fourteen most deserving. One project per parish will win a Free BH Paints Colour Make-over based on the voting. There is no charge to vote, and just for voting individuals stand a chance of being one of five lucky winners of a BH $40,000 gift package. The Facebook address is facebook.com/championsofcolour. Mr. Luke Ticknor, SVP, Sales & Marketing for the Harris Group said: "We are very excited at the prospect of helping to beautify some of the island's public buildings. We'll be going live with the Facebook page on December 9, when we hold our 50thAnniversary Cocktail Party at the Wyndham Kingston Hotel. Voting will terminate on February 28, 2012, after which the Winners will be announced." As BH Paints gives back to Jamaica, with thanks for fifty years of support, you are invited to join in the celebration and vote for the 14 projects you consider to be most deserving. BH looks forward with anticipation to serving the country with more exciting paint and colour choices for another 50 years. (PR)
