Ulttima by Harris Paints proven to be "Best by Test"

Now, after extensive comparative laboratory testing of the major coating brands made in the Caribbean, Harris Paints' Ulttima brand has been definitively proven to be "Best by Test". The top quality products from a wide range of Caribbean paint manufacturers were tested vs Harris Ulttima to see how they performed in areas including coverage, colour accuracy, ease of application, scrubbability/durability, stain removal, and whiteness. David Mayers, Harris Paints' Technical Officer who led the team who performed the various rigorous lab tests, provided some details of the results generated by these tests: "While Harris Ulttima was not the top performing paint in each and every category, it easily performed the best overall across the range of tests. In particular, Harris Ulttima was proven to be significantly higher-performing in the areas of colour accuracy, ease of application, stain removal and scrubbability “ for example, when placed on an Automatic Abrasion Testing Machine, the Ulttima Satin Emulsion product was able to withstand over 2,500 more scrubs than the next best product tested, and three times as many scrubs as some paints currently on the market." Harris Ulttima uses special formulations developed jointly by Harris Paints and AkzoNobel Decorative Coatings, the world's largest paint and coatings company, all of which were designed especially for the Caribbean with performance and quality in mind. Charles Kirton, VP of Technical and R&D for Harris Paints, explains the Ulttima difference: "Despite the cost of paint ingredients such as acrylic resins and Titanium Dioxide rising significantly around the world, we have never been tempted to substitute lower cost and lower performing raw materials into our paints.
