Colour Technician - Due June 24, 2026

Core Responsibilities: 

1. To tint and/or colour match paint and coatings to the prescribed colour standards of the Company in a cost effective and efficient manner, while observing the health, safety and environmental guidelines of the Company.

2. Liaise with Retail, Trade and Distribution to ensure the correct prioritization and processing of orders, both for customers and for stock.

Qualifications / Experience:

• At least four (4) years’ experience with shading in a paint environment, demonstrating a high degree of accuracy and productivity.
  
  OR
  

• Possess four (4) CXC General Grade I or II passes (or equivalent) including Mathematics and English.
  

Skills, Competencies and Requirements for the position:

1. Ability to use colour matching computer.
2. Excellent colour vision with the ability to adjust colours.
3. Sound knowledge of colour/stainers used Company standards for colour matching.
4. Effective communication and customer service skills.
5. Ability to work quickly, under pressure and possess excellent time management skills.
6. Must be methodical and disciplined to organize schedules and tasks with little supervision.
7. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
