Quality Control Officer/Production Supervisor
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist in the establishment and maintenance of efficient production processes and a safe work environment.
- Perform quality tests and material inspection. Control and maintain the resulting records in a timely, accurate, and easily retrievable manner.
- Ensure the laboratory operations meet or exceed efficiency and International
Organization for Standardization (ISO) / Business Management System (BMS) quality standards.
- Supervise production workers, plan and assign work, implement policies and procedures as directed.
- Assist the Production and Technical Manager in determining staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments.
- Ensure that proper quality and efficient efforts are being performed for all working jobs. Verify specifications throughout the production process.
Qualifications / Experience:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related field, along with at least three (3) years’
experience of related work experience.
OR
-
Three (3) A’ Levels passes including Chemistry or a Diploma / Associate’s Degree in
Quality Assurance with at least four (4) years of related work experience.
Skills, Competencies and Requirements for the position:
- Excellent knowledge of Retail, Sales and Customer Service processes and best practices.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sound Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Point of sales systems.
- Passion for excellence with a “can do” attitude along with an “eye for colour”.
- Knowledge and experience of working in the Paint industry would be an asset.
- Innovative & Customer focused with an interest in interior design.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a vehicle.
