Quality Control Officer/Production Supervisor

Core Responsibilities: 

1. Assist in the establishment and maintenance of efficient production processes and a safe work environment.
   
2. Perform quality tests and material inspection. Control and maintain the resulting records in a timely, accurate, and easily retrievable manner.
   
3. Ensure the laboratory operations meet or exceed efficiency and International
   Organization for Standardization (ISO) / Business Management System (BMS) quality standards.
4. Supervise production workers, plan and assign work, implement policies and procedures as directed.
   
5. Assist the Production and Technical Manager in determining staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments.
   
6. Ensure that proper quality and efficient efforts are being performed for all working jobs. Verify specifications throughout the production process.

Qualifications / Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related field, along with at least three (3) years’
  experience of related work experience.
  
  OR
  

• Three (3) A’ Levels passes including Chemistry or a Diploma / Associate’s Degree in
  Quality Assurance with at least four (4) years of related work experience.

Skills, Competencies and Requirements for the position:

1. Excellent knowledge of Retail, Sales and Customer Service processes and best practices.
   
2. High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
   
3. Sound Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Point of sales systems.
   
4. Passion for excellence with a “can do” attitude along with an “eye for colour”.
   
5. Knowledge and experience of working in the Paint industry would be an asset.
   
6. Innovative & Customer focused with an interest in interior design.
   
7. Possess a valid driver’s license and a vehicle.
