This surface has excellent adhesion (as long as it has not been coated with a sealer) as it is specially treated to produce a thick layer of oxidization making it stronger, stable (non-reactive to the air), and more porous. It is generally a tougher, more matte surface compared to natural aluminum.
Ensure the surface is clean and free from dirt, grease, and other contaminants before priming.
Prime all bare metal with 1 coat Super Grip Premium Problem-Solving Primer and allow to dry thoroughly.
Use Ulttima Plus Acrylic Porch & Patio Enamel, Ulttima Plus Satin or Gloss (emulsion or oil) or Pro Speed Cover Gloss Emulsion.
