Outdated tiles can be repainted to give a new lease on life but it is not recommended for areas subject to constant moisture such as within a shower or bath unit or for very heavy traffic areas.
Thoroughly clean the tile with a degreaser/ mold remover as necessary. Be sure to get the grout very clean. Sand the surface well with fine grit sandpaper to remove the glaze and provide ‘tooth’ and wipe clean. If repairs are necessary be sure to allow caulk and fillers to dry thoroughly.
Prime with 1 full coat Super Grip Premium Problem-Solving Primer.
Top coat with minimum 2 coats Ulttima Plus Emulsion paint in the desired sheen and finish. Alternatively spray Rust-Oleum Paint for Plastic, applying thin coats and allowing to dry between coats. Repeat until fully covered.
Allow to fully cure for up to 7 days for the longest-lasting protection.
