Regular Care

1. CHECK CANISTERS (DAILY)

Physically check levels in canisters daily before service and verify with the on-screen levels.

2. REFILL HUMIDIFIER

Regularly check the inspection window. If level is low, add water by opening the humidifier cap (red). Do not exceed the max level.

3. CLEAN AUTOCAP SPONGE

  • Loosen sponge holder cap in the lower part of the autocap system and remove it from its seat.
  • Remove the sponge and wash with water and refit.

4. NOZZLE CLEAN

  • Visually inspect daily that the nozzles are clean and clear of any dried product.
  • Use a tool with a thin metal tip or a q-tip to remove any residue.
  • Always perform a purge cycle after cleaning.

5. PURGE

  • Place a can under the dispensing nozzle.
  • Go to the Service screen.
  • Start by pressing <Purge All> command.
  • Wait for cycle to complete.
  • Remove can.

6. GENERAL CLEANING

  • Clean external surfaces with a cloth dampened with water, degreaser or denatured alcohol.
  • Do not use solvents or abrasive products.
  • Do not use water jets to clean the machine.

Tinting

1. COLOUR LOOK UP

Enter colour name/number, select colour and choose desired options.

2. SELECT PRODUCT / BASE

Master base is available in Ulttima Plus Flat, Satin and Porch & Patio. For all other product options use Traditional bases.

3. ENTER & SAVE DATA

Enter customer info, product/colour info and project details.

4. PRINT LABEL

Apply to can.

5. DISPENSE

Place can under the dispense nozzles at the appropriate height. In the dispensing widow select package size. Press <Dispense> to start dispensing.

6. SHAKE

Place in shaker and agitate for the period recommended for pack size.

Quarts 2 mins
Gallons 3 mins
5 Gallons 5 mins

7. FINISH

Remove from shaker. Open lid to check colour. Dab a small quantity on lid. Replace lid and secure by taping to prevent spills. Present to customer for approval.

Note: Wet colour may appear different colour to dry paint

Refilling Canisters

1. CHECK CANISTERS (DAILY)

Physically check levels in canisters daily before service and verify with the on screen levels.

2. SELECT PRODUCT

Check batch number for oldest stocked item. Shake colourants well by hand for at least 30 secs. Check consistency is smooth. Do not use if lumpy.

3. RECORD THE OPERATION

Access the <Service> screen. In the <Refill [cc]> field enter the volume in cc of the colourant to be refilled, then press <Refill>. Repeat for each colourant to be added.

4. SELECT CANISTER FOR REFILL

Canister will rotate to front, cover of the canister to be refilled.

DO NOT ROTATE CANISTERS BY HAND!

5. REFILL

Not Over Max Fill Level

Top up canister or tank with the appropriate fill level. For colourants – top up when a whole pack will be used to refill canister. Do not fill beyond the maximum fill level or beyond the top most stirring blade.

6. SHAKE

Once reset, system quits <Diagnostic> mode and returns to <Stand By>.
